The fund’s guiding value is UN Goal 11:

Make cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.

The Hadarim Fund is committed to social and environmental indices, which it develops together with neighbourhood stakeholders, including the neighbourhood administration and different municipal departments (municipal), the neighbourhood council (civic), the Shahaf Foundation (philanthropic fund), local communities, the Gavrieli Segal planning firm the Israeli Affordable Housing Center, and other experts.

The Bioregional’s  One Planet Living’ model was chosen as a holistic reference framework for a sustainable neighbourhood. The model consists of ten action channels. We are currently in the process of building the specific indices for the project, including data collection and evaluation methods over the entire project lifetime.

The Hadarim Fund will work towards being certified as a B Corp.
